LANTEK HAS PRESENTED ITS V44 SOFTWARE SUITE AT METALMADRID 2024

Lantek participated in MetalMadrid 2024, the industrial event held on November 20 and 21 at IFEMA. From its booth 9E31, located in Hall 9, the company attended to the more than 14,000 professionals who visited the trade fair venue.

Advanced connectivity for machines and MES systems

One of the most notable aspects of Lantek v44 is its ability to enhance connectivity between production machines and shop floor management systems (MES). This technology allows machine signals to be directly transmitted to the MES system, enabling real-time communication. This ensures precise control of operations, both in 2D and 3D, and additionally:

• Automates operation validation through the WOS Live module, minimizing errors.
• Optimizes workflows by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Facilitates monitoring through cloud-based tools like the Control Panel module, which enables maintenance diagnostics and daily performance analysis.

The integral connectivity between CAD/CAM systems, MES, and machine controllers increases efficiency, precision, and traceability at every stage of production.

Enhanced 3D importing with Assembly to Nesting (A2N)

Lantek v44 also introduces the Assembly to Nesting (A2N) module, an advanced tool for importing 3D CAD formats. This module automatically recognizes complex structures, such as sheet metal assemblies, tubes, and profiles, and allows these formats to be unfolded for quoting or production purposes. Its key features include:

• An intuitive interface with real-time 2D and 3D visualization.
• Automatic recognition of standard bevels, assigning the corresponding technology automatically.
• Integration with Lantek Expert, ensuring a seamless transition from design to nesting.
