Among the advancements exhibited by Murrelektronik were the MVK Pro and IMPACT67 Pro fieldbus modules, designed to optimize the integration of IO-Link devices. With an IP67 rating that ensures durability in demanding industrial environments, these modules include eight multifunctional master ports compatible with all standard protocols. Additionally, they offer a current output of 4 amps per port and integrated diagnostics, facilitating more efficient process management.
Vario-X: Control Cabinet-Free Automation
Another standout solution was Vario-X, an innovative decentralized automation platform. This system stands out for its ability to move the management of sensors and actuators to the field, eliminating the need for a control cabinet. Its advantages include reduced installation costs, improved sustainability and energy efficiency, and the ability to enhance flexibility in the design of digitized factories.
