REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR EMO HANNOVER 2025: LEADING TRADE FAIR TO CELEBRATE ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

30 September, 2024

The digital registration process for EMO 2025, the world's premier trade fair for production technology, has officially commenced. The upcoming event, scheduled for 22 to 26 September 2025 in Hanover, will mark the fair’s 50th anniversary, a significant milestone for the international metalworking community.

As one of the industry’s most prestigious events, EMO has consistently brought together manufacturers, suppliers, and trade professionals from across the globe. This legacy is underscored by Carl Martin Welcker, the General Commissioner of EMO, who highlighted the fair’s ongoing relevance and impact. “EMO has been bringing the right people together in the right place at the right time for half a century now. It will be the number one event in 2025 for the international metalworking community," he stated, emphasizing its importance to the industry.

The German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW), which organizes EMO, has reiterated the fair’s role as the ultimate platform for companies to showcase their innovations. Manufacturers of metalworking machinery, components, and related technologies are encouraged to present their latest products, services, and solutions to a global trade audience under the event’s theme, "Innovate Manufacturing."

Welcker stressed the value of EMO for businesses seeking to grow their network and engage with high-profile international visitors. “EMO is and remains THE industry platform where companies can inspire customers, expand their own network and, of course, do business," he remarked. The event attracts a highly specialized audience, with visitors from over 140 countries anticipated to attend the 2025 edition. "Where else can manufacturers meet so many high-caliber trade visitors in just five days?" Welcker asked, underscoring the scale and influence of the event.

Comprehensive Services and Early Registration Incentives

EMO 2025 offers a comprehensive range of services that make participation even more appealing to exhibitors. Martin Göbel, Director of Exhibitions at VDW, outlined the benefits included in the pricing structure, which cover visitor tickets, advertising materials, electricity, water, and compressed air supplies, and the transportation of exhibition goods within the fairgrounds. These extensive services, provided at a competitive price per square meter, set EMO apart from other national and international fairs.

As an additional incentive, an early-bird discount is available for registrations completed by 15 October 2024. This discount, coupled with the wide array of services offered, is expected to encourage early commitment from exhibitors looking to secure their place at this landmark event.

A Must-Attend Event for Industry Leaders

EMO's history of bringing together key players in metalworking is one of its defining characteristics. According to Welcker, the roster of participants at EMO reads like a "Who’s Who" of the metalworking industry, emphasizing that participation in the event is essential for any major player seeking to maintain or grow their market presence.

With its rich history, the 50th edition of EMO is set to reaffirm its status as a critical hub for innovation, networking, and business in the global production technology sector. The metalworking community is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to gather once again in Hanover in September 2025.
