28 November, 2024From 3 to 5 June 2025, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) will host the first edition of weAR, a new trade fair specialising in automation and robotics, co-organised by STECH and BEC. As part of the +INDUSTRY industrial event, this event is aimed at professionals from different sectors interested in the most advanced technologies for industry.
weAR aims to consolidate itself as a key meeting point for manufacturers of machinery, components, integrators and assemblers from various sectors, such as robotics, mechanical infrastructure and communication devices, focusing on Smart Manufacturing. Sectors represented include aeronautics and aerospace, food and beverage, automotive, energy, ancillary industries, logistics and shipbuilding, among others.
The show will feature a programme designed to foster innovation and professional interaction. Attendees will be able to participate in Innovation Workshops, workshops dedicated to solving technical challenges, and Tech Demos, where technologies will be demonstrated in action. Networking activities will also be organised, such as informal meetings and technical visits to get a closer look at advanced solutions.
Within the framework of +INDUSTRY, weAR will be integrated with other consolidated trade fairs such as BeDIGITAL (industrial digitalisation), ADDIT3D (additive manufacturing), Subcontratacion (industrial processes and supplies), Maintenance (industrial maintenance) and Pumps & Valves (fluids and processes), offering a transversal experience that will address all the needs of current production processes. WORKinn, the industrial employment forum, will also be present.
weAR promises to be a must-attend event for companies looking to position themselves at the forefront of technology, explore new business opportunities and strengthen their network of contacts in a dynamic and innovative environment.
